Charters” will meet you at the Airport
and take you to the Boat for immediate
departure to Sito Island. Arrive
at Island and have a “Special Welcome
Tropical Drink”
from our friendly staff. Settle into
your Chalets and meet at Main Lodge for
some Sundowners and Dinner.
Thursday:
After
breakfast go on a walking trail with an
abundance of bird life, Small Game and
Rainforest with huge Baobab trees for
the nature lover. This is the place to
be and to appreciate the background
music of the Fish eagle and then you
realize you are in Africa. You will be
served with ice cold drinks and Lunch
under the Baobab Tree. Have a swim after
lunch or just lie on the beach and soak
up the sun.
Have
Sundowners at our Beach Bar whilst
watching the magnificent Sunset over the
ocean.
Sit around the campfire on the
beach and braai Meat or Crayfish on the
open fire and watch for shooting stars.
The bright moon reflecting on the water
having a hypnotic spell of its own.
Friday:
Depart
Sito Island at 8h00 after breakfast.
Arrive at Historic Ibo Island’s
200-year-old Ghost town with its
fascinating History and old buildings.
This is where Vasco da Gama rested in
1502. Ibo was a major trading center for
ivory and slaves. Visit the 16th Century
old Forts. A fascinating journey to a
long forgotten era.
Have Lunch on Historic Ibo Island
and visit the Main Fort, a magnificent
example of
Portuguese architecture in the
1800’s that overlook the entrance to
the harbor. Cannons still grace the
ramparts and is now inhabited by
silversmiths who make jewellery using
ancient Arab techniques and tools
melting down nickel coins.
Run back to Sito in time for
Sundowners and Dinner
Saturday:
Sleep
late.
Have breakfast at the Main Lodge.
Book a diving, snorkel or canoe
trip or just enjoy the sun and beach
with a tropical drink. Have lunch at
Main Lodge.
Get served with cocktail drinks
and Sashimi in front of Main Lodge in
the water, cooling down and watching the
beautiful Sunset.
Have
a dinner consisting of Fish, shellfish
or meat. Take part in the Pirate games
in the main Lodge after Dinner. If you
are with a special partner, exclusively
book our traditional Dhow for a romantic
Champagne Sundown Cruise into the Sunset
and Dinner afterwards.
Sunday:
Have
an early breakfast and depart for Pemba.
On arrival you will be taken to
Pemba
Airport at 12h30 to book in your
