Being a province located in the west part of the Philippines. Palawan is comprised for about 1780 islands and islets. The capital and most populated city is Puerto Princesa, this city is situated in the east coast of the main island, Palawan.

El Nido is the most visited tourist destination in the province of Palawan. This coastal municipality is home to spectacular beaches, islands and lagoons. As for the natural environment, of particular interests are areas such as Helicopter Island, Nacpan Beach or the big lagoon.
The underground river is 2 hours away from Puerto Princesa, it was declared world heritage by Unesco.

In the north of the province is situated the Calamianes archipelago. The main islands are Culion, Busuanga and Coron. Coron is one of the top rated diving destinations in the world. There are inhabited islands, wrecks, lagoons and hundreds kilometers of white sandy beaches.
Tubbataha reef is a fishing sanctuary like no other. It has also been declared World Heritage by Unesco.

The climate of Palawan is hot all year round. It is very hot between March and June, while July to November is rainy. The temperatures goes between 25C - 35C everyday.
The typhoon season usually finish in mid december.

The airports of Puerto Princesa and Busuanga operate daily flights that connect these two airports with the main cities of the Philippines such as Manila, Cebu or Iloilo. The main airlines operating in this airports are Cebu Pacific Air, Philippine Airlines and Air Asia.
